Mission Statement

At the Dedham Academy of Martial Arts, our passion is empowering our students to realize their potential and become the best version of themselves.  We believe the martial arts is so much more than kicking, punching, and grappling. It is a vehicle for self-protection and character development. It is improving our minds, bodies, and spirits to be better mentally, physically, and morally. It is educating our students on the science of conflict and conflict resolution through the Six A’s: Acceptance, Attitude, Awareness, Assessment, Action, and Aftermath. With these, we believe our students will have the tools to be prepared, the ability to problem solve, and the knowledge to be confident and determined in any environment- no matter what life throws at them.   To learn how we do this at each age group click on our programs button above.
